The car is equipped with the 0.8 Liter, 799cc petrol engine which delivers 53 bhp of maximum power at 5678 rpm with 72 Nm of maximum torque at 4386 rpm. The engine is integrated with the 5 speed manual transmission refined gearbox for smooth and convenient driving experience.

Their petrol models are powered by the 1.2 Liter, 1199cc, petrol engine which generates 84 bhp of maximum power at 6000 rpm with 114 Nm of maximum torque at 3500 rpm. In terms of power output, Datsun Redi Go clearly wins the race with more power and torque, which will further makes its acceleration and performance better than Maruti Alto 800.

Though, Tata Tiago is also a very good car in terms of mileage but it slightly lacks if compare with the Datsun Redi Go. The ARAI certified mileage of Tata Tiago petrol models are 23.84 kmpl, so you can expect around 20 kmpl mileage in city driving conditions and around 23 kmpl on highways.
