Heat Sealer & Accessories
The first product we would recommend it this Heat Sealer and accompanying accessories. The heat sealer itself is UL-certified and it is able to easily seal nylon sterilization tubing in a matter of seconds. In fact, it can do this in as little as 1 to 2 seconds before it switches itself off automatically. The unit itself is made of strong stainless steel for ruggedness and the 8-inch heating elements are of high quality for long lasting use.
Nylon Sterilization TubingNext up in our recommendations is this Nylon Sterlization Tubing. This tubing is made using transparent nylon which allows you to view the contents. We tested the sterilization tubing and it was able to remain pliable after heat sterilization after being subjected to a heat of up to 425°F / 218°C. The tubing can be used in an autoclave, as well as dry heat or chemical sterilizers and it is possible to seal with the heat sealer described above. This particular roll of tubing is 100ft in length, and there is an optional sterilization indicator if required.
Sterilization Wrap (CSR)
Sterilization Wrap (CSR) is ideal for general sterilization, as it acts as a barrier, preventing any air and bacteria found in water from contaminating your equipment. This CSR wrap wraps around various shapes and sizes of cassettes with ease, which allows penetration for the different methods of sterilization. The Sterilization Wrap is compatible with steam and ETO, as well as gamma. It is important to note that it made of petroleum and memory-free material and offers a cloth-like feel to the user.
Autoclave Tape
Another must buy is this autoclave tape. It can produce an air tight seal for autoclave bags, to guard against any contamination. It also works well with tubing and csr wraps. The way to activate this autoclave tape is with steam and chemical sterilizers. The tape is sold in a 60-yard roll.
Indicator Strips
These Steam sterilization indicator strips are also an essential purchase. It is important to note that these sterilization indicator strips are for steam sterilization only. Available in 1-3/16″ x 2-3/4″ (30mm x 70MM).
