Buddh International Circuit is a world class experience in itself. It is India’s one and only F1 circuit. The beautifully designed circuit is one of the fastest and very well maintained motor racing circuits in the country, even the world. It is used to organise car and bike racing events. It has hosted formula one grand prix for three successful times. It has also hosted a number of conferences, musical concerts, marathons, corporate events and other important events. The long 5.14 km track has 16 corners, high-speed straights, tight hairpin bends and many elevations. The entire circuit has adhered to all the safety norms and regulations given by the government. There are other facilities like facilities for the media and medical facilities.

What is the Buddha International Circuit?

About 40kms away from Delhi, you will find India’s most elegant racing circuit. The Buddha International Circuit is situated in greater Noida, in Uttar Pradesh. The large space can hold 120,000 audiences at one time. Inaugurated in October 2011, the place is the most celebrated circuits in the country. Designed by the renowned German race track architect Hermann Tilke, this super racing circuit is 5.13km long and the second fastest on the calendar only after the Monza. The circuit has won many praises from race drivers too. They have compared the layout to venues like Spa and Suzuka.

Why is this Circuit so Famous?

The Buddha International Circuit is popular throughout the country for its cleanliness and maintenance. Throughout the year, many events are hosted. But, what made it famous was the annual formula one Indian grand prix that was held for the first time in 2011. After its grand success, the f1 race was held for the next two years in the Buddha international circuit. But, due to government regulations, the event is no longer held here.

The infrastructure, posh architecture, the grey racing roads and lush green lawns, everything makes the place worth visiting at least once. The pit lane and garages can accommodate almost 50 cars. Other attractions include paddock club, platinum enclosures, grand plaza, media centre, grandstand and so on.

Located in Greater Noida, Buddh International Circuit is about 40 km from Delhi. You can hire a taxi to city centre at Noida. The traffic is heavy and you must spare a couple of hours if necessary. The exact address is:
